Meet Harry!

This is our pet Guinea Pig. We have named him Harry. He is 7 weeks old and lives in school. Year 2 are responsible for looking after him, however he sometimes goes to stay in Years 3 and 4 so other children in the school can enjoy his company.

Y2 Recycling!

Look what we have made with our recycled boxes, newspaper and pots! Aqsa made her hot air balloon during learning agreement time. She worked independently on this project all week. It inspired other children to make models with balloons. Check out Aayah’s bumble bee! Raees and Zara made magnetic maths games. One was in the shape of a castle and the other a pond. If you have any junk at home please donate it to Year 2.

Jewellery project

Some girls have been making  jewellery out of pasta! They have been painting them lots of different colours.

Our football project

 

We are making our own Aston Villa football pitch. Some children are designing the pitch and some are making puppet players. We hope to play a game very soon!
